Business: Members of Beta Alpha Psi offer tutoring for BA 211, BA 213, ACTG 381, and ACTG 382 in SBA 694. See www.betaalphapsi.pdx.edu.
Chemistry: Tutors are available various hours in SB 1, Rm. 221 (computer lab). Fall term hours are Monday-Thursday 10 am - 6 pm and Friday 11 am - 2 pm.
Communication Studies Mentors: This is an advanced group of Communication students who assist undergraduates with their academic concerns including library research, paper organization, concept and theory interpretation, and other coursework questions in Communication. If you are interested in learning more, please contact the department website www.comm.pdx.edu .
Math and Statistics: Tutoring is available for algebra and calculus in the “atrium,” which is outside the math department, 334 Neuberger Hall. Tutoring for Statistics 243-244 is available in the math computer lab in NH 465. See www.mth.pdx.edu/resources/.
University Success: This after-hours academic support program in Ondine 204 provides PSU students with the following free services: 1) tutoring in certain subjects Sunday nights 5-10 pm, 2) career counseling, 3) academic advising, 4) open study hall, and 5) other staff- and faculty-led workshops. Writing: The Writing Center is open to students and community members. Appointments are necessary for 25- or 50-minute appointments. It is located in Cramer Hall, RM 188F (www.writingcenter.pdx.edu).
